We just moved to Calgary from Toronto, and we had to look for local tax professionals to help us with filing our Tax Return. There were numerous tax services in town, but only a handful were open during the weekends.

I called Liberty Tax, and appreciated the friendly and professional manner in which the receptionist handled my call. She even gave us an estimate of how much the service would be based on the number of slips we had. It was a good price, so I asked for a Sunday appointment, and she set a meeting for us and Janet Chung.

When we got there, I had a good impression with the office as everyone in the waiting room was being attended to properly.

Plus, they have a snack bar with chips, chocolates, water, and soda! You can have some snacks while waiting for your appointment, or even while talking to your accountant.

Janet's AWESOME. She's very friendly, professional, and knowledgable. We were expecting a low tax return for this year, but she told us that we can get more based on our file.

Our file was quite complicated as we had a lot of slips, and Janet said that she could get it done in a few days, while giving us a really good tax return amount.

What impressed us about Janet was that she was trying her best to give us as much return as possible. She was also very easy to communicate with via email or phone call.

Despite having numerous clients, I really felt that Janet took care of us. At times, it seemed like we were her only clients. That's how responsive she was!

All in all, Liberty Tax is great! And Janet Chung is amazing!

I really appreciate how thorough she was and how quickly everything was done. Such a great experience which isn’t something I thought I would say about filing taxes haha thanks again Iris! Iris is an angel. She is patient when I procrastinate taxes and knows her stuff! I will be using their services for the foreseeable future, the weight lifted off me doing our own taxes is well worth the small price. I will recommend her to all my family and friends.
